Ed Glaser‘ın temizlettiği ve restore ettiği pandemi öncesi Amerika ve Birleşik Krallık‘da sınırlı izleyiciye gösterime giren Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam (1982) filminin Blu-ray versiyonun piyasaya çıkış tarihi açıklandı.
Uzun yıllardır iyi bir kopyası olmayan ve temizlenmemiş versiyonları yayınlanan filmin Vcd ve Vcd’den aktarılmış bir versiyonu ülkemizde yayınlanmıştı. Ancak daha önce sitemizden de haber verdiğimiz üzere Amerikalı film tarihçisi ve yapımcı Ed Glaser, bizimde destek verdiğimiz Türkiye ziyaretinde filmin 35 mm kopyasını satın aldı.
Uzun ve zahmetli bir süreçte filmi temizleyen ve piyasaya çıkacak en uzun versiyonu yayını hazırlayan Ed Glaser uzun süren serüveninin sonuna geldi. Yepyeni kapağı ve tertemiz hali ile Türk Sinemasının yurt dışında festivallerde en fazla gösterilen filmi olan Dünyayı Kurataran Adam aka Turkish Star Wars filmi en sonunda Blu-ray formatı ile satışa sunulacak.

The distant future. Two pilots, outgunned in a space war, crash-land on a mysterious desert planet.
